  for current Northland Students\, Faculty\, and Staff  \n\n \n\nLearn the 
 basics of pottery in a relaxed\, beginner-friendly setting with hands-on g
 uidance from an experienced instructor! Over the course of three sessions\
 , you'll discover foundational clay techniques\, then return for the glazi
 ng lab. You'll work with real clay\, explore how to shape and refine your 
 forms\, and complete one or more pieces that will be fired in Northland's 
 very own kiln! Artists will collect their pieces a few weeks after glazing
 . \n\nPerfect for complete beginners and those who want a gentle introduct
 ion to ceramics in a supportive community education environment. All mater
 ials and firings are provided through an Artist in Residency grant.\n\n \n
